Description
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena, one of the first Indian female air-force pilots in combat (arrived with second set of crew after Sreevidya Rajan), alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in supporting roles.
Principal photography commenced in February 2019 and was wrapped up in October; it was extensively filmed across Lucknow. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was unable to release theatrically and was picked up for distribution by Netflix It was released globally on 12 August 2020.
At the 66th Filmfare Awards, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl received 8 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director (Sharma), Best Actress (Kapoor) and Best Supporting Actor (Tripathi).
චිත්‍ර‍පටිය ගැන කිව්වොත් Sharan Sharma විසින් අධ්‍යක්ෂණය කරන මේ චිත්‍ර‍පටිය Gunjan Saxena නම් 1996 දි ඉන්දියානු හමුදාවට එකතු වි සේවය කල ගුවන් නිලධාරිණියගේ ජිවිත කතාව අලලා නිර්මාණය වුවක්. මෙහි ඇයගේ චරිතයට පණ පොවන්නේ Janhvi Kapoor විසින්.. කතාව ගැන කිව්වොතින් ගුන්ජන් කියන්නේ පොඩිකාලේ ඉදන්ම ගුවන් නිලධාරිණියක් වෙන්න සිහින දකින කෙනෙක්. ඇයගේ මේ හිනයට කවුරුම නැතත් ගොඩක්ම උදව් කරන්නේ ඇයගේ තාත්තා විසින්. එත් ගුවන් ගුවන් නියමු වරියක් වෙන්න ඇයට බාධාවක් එනවා. ඒ තමයි මුදල් නැති කම.. මේ වෙලාවේ තමයි ගුන්ජන්ගේ තාත්තා හිතන්නේ පයිලට් කෙනෙක් වෙන්න බැරි නම් ඇයගේ පියාසරි හිනය සැබැ කරන්න ඇයව ගුවන් හමුදාවට එකතු කරන්න.. එත් ගැණු ළමයෙක් කොහොමද යුධ බිමක බය නැතුව ගුවන් යානාවක් පදවගෙන යන්නේ.. මේ ගැටළුව හැමෝටම එනවා.. ඇය කොහොමින් කොහොම හරි ගුවන් හමුදා නිලධාරිණයක් වෙන්න විභාග එහෙම පාස් කරලා හමුදා ඇකඩමියට යනවා. නමුත් මෙතැනදි තමයි ඇයට ප්‍ර‍ශ්න ගොඩකට මුණ දෙන්න වෙන්නේ..මේ ඇයගේ අරමුණට යන්නට ගොස් ඇයට විදින්නට උන කරදර බාධක මොනාද කියලා චිත්‍ර‍පටිය බලලාම තමයි දැනගන්න පුලුවන් වෙන්නේ.. එහෙනම් නරඔන්න ආරාධනා කරනගමන් සමුගන්නවා.
